Those Repeated Lessons from Mumbai
-Shivarudraiahswamy, Shimoga
Let us wake up to the call of the time
Otherwise none will be there alive to blame
Let us not rest and forget with the time
Till we extinguish this violent flame

Those cowardice target at innocents
Call themselves militants n terrorists
For no cause they shoot at ignorant
Unknown people and even at the infant

For unknown heaven's sake
they  have no other way  like
The mindless militants's mood
 cannot understand what is good

We shall face the bullet with bullet
Because we too have bags of bullet
We shall not keep  quiet so again
We had lot of  bullets in and again

We will avenge the onslaught
Bullet by bullet, bullet by bullet
We shall not be any more silent
and shout back at the bullet with bullet

This shall be owe to mother India
We shall save the honour of India
The time has come now to say 'come on India'
and to prove that  we too have 'it'  in India

We have our bullets in and with us
For the sake of every right cause
The days of patience and silence have gone
and the new era of our country has just begun

We shall now use our bullets
To end the nasty games of politics
Let us now forget  political ballets
Those are not less than terrorists

We shall bring an end to these designs
Of Merchants of death in the mask as leaders
Those make innocent voters as ladders
To quench their thirst to power politics

Let us bring an end to this dirty politics
And smash these valueless politicians
 and their divisive tricky politics
Who are not less than terrorists

Those politicians preaching against the terrorism
Are the real terrorists  in the name of politics
They have now became other  face of the same coin
With those faceless inhuman terrorists

  1. The angst reflected is more media driven. Bullets for bullets or an eye for an eye may not be an answer as the problem is deep rooted and unless the root is addressed the disease of the system cannot be addressed. The poetry however is valuable as a contemporary reflection of the angst in the common man. Hats off! Continue blogging.
